About Kelsey Deans

Kelsey Deans, a Butterfly Curator at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, is originally from Chesapeake, Virginia. She moved to Richmond in 2009 to pursue a degree in Environmental Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. During her time at VCU she focused her projects in environmental education. Her goal is to be an educator, and her favorite hobbies are gardening, reading, hiking, and travelling.
