Each of the last two posts have featured the color red. It just struck me that red is one of the colors of Autumn, so let’s follow that theme. Here are a few images from this week at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
This looks a little medieval, but it's an effort to preserve the seeds from a special hybrid magnolia.
Not a Magnolia, but the largest, reddest flower I've seen all year.
