Walk & Talk

Kids walking on a Family Walk and Talk through the Garden. Enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Garden with one of these specialized walks featuring seasonal aspects of the Garden. Come dressed for the weather and walking. This is the family version of the popular Lewis Ginter Walk and Talks. Each program will include hands-on activities and a take-home craft.

Our Family Walk and Talk is a drop-in program, no registration needed.  

Tuesdays, June – August; departing at 10 a.m.  from the Robins Visitor Center Atrium.

The Children’s Garden has drop-in programming three days a week in spring (April, May) and fall (September and October) and seven days a week in summer (June, July, and August).  Here’s the schedule:

Spring and Fall Schedule (April & May, September & October)

Wednesday: Drop-in and Dig!, 2-3 p.m.
Saturday: Drop-in and Dig!, 10-11 a.m.
Sunday: Garden Art Studio,  2-3 p.m.

Summer Schedule (June, July, August)

Monday: Garden Art, 10-11 a.m.
Tuesday: Family Walk and Talk, departing at 10 a.m. from the Robins Visitor Center
Wednesday: Drop-in and Dig!, 10-11:30 a.m., Meet in the Children’s Garden Farm Garden
Thursday: Good Green Fun, 5-6 p.m. during Flowers After 5.
Friday: Storytime in the Garden, 10-11 a.m.
Saturday: Drop-in and Dig!,  10-11 a.m. Meet in the Children’s Garden Farm Garden
Sunday: Garden Art Studio,  2-3 p.m.
