Basic Home Landscape Design

4 Saturdays, February 16, 23, March 2, 9, 9 am - 12 pm, and 2 optional Sunday Studios, February 24, March 3 by appointment

Details:

Develop the knowledge and skills needed to construct a customized home landscape. Participants conduct a site analysis and create a base map, site plan, conceptual plan, and planting plan. Exercises in design reinforce landscaping principles and make students aware of common pitfalls. Materials are provided for the first class, and a list of recommended materials is available the first session. Sunday studios are optional and by appointment. “Graphics for Home Landscape Design” is a required pre-requisite for this course; exceptions are by permission of the instructor. Instructor: Candy Lindenzweig.

Alternate session offered on Thursdays, February 21, 28, March 7, 14 with Sunday studios on February 23 and March 3.

$254 / $210 for members.  4 classroom and 2 studio sessions = 14 hrs.  GES: HL, 14, required.
