Internationally renowned public garden designer Lynden B. Miller will be signing her book Parks, Plants and People: Beautifying the Urban Landscape at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 12:15 – 12:35 p.m. Her book is available for purchase in the Garden Shop and the signing will be in the Garden’s Library. There is no charge to attend.
Throughout her prolific career, Miller has changed the face of public places in New York City and around the country by connecting nature with neighborhoods of all income levels. Her book details how communities can be transformed by creating and supporting urban green spaces, resulting in enhanced quality of life, reduced crime and measurable economic benefits.
