Botanical Illustration Workshop: Roses with Juliet Kirby

4 sessions = 20 hrs., Tues. and Thurs., Sept. 15, 17, 22, 24, 10 am -3 pm

Details:

Williamsburg artist Juliet Kirby leads this drawing and painting workshop using specimens from the Garden's new rose garden. Focus is on composition, accurate detail and light. Students complete one painting, or a series of studies of buds, flowers, leaves and stems. Intermediate level; students must have completed at least one Botanical Illustration course. Students provide materials; a list of materials will be sent after registration. Lunch is on your own each day. GES: BI, 20. $210 / $170 members
