Basic Home Landscape Design

4 Saturdays and 2 optional Sunday Studios, September 8, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29

Details:

Develop the knowledge and skills needed to construct a customized home landscape. Participants conduct a site analysis and create a base map, site plan, conceptual plan, and planting plan. Exercises in design reinforce landscaping principles and make students aware of common pitfalls. Materials are provided for the first class, and a list of recommended materials is available the first session. Sunday studios are optional and by appointment. “Graphics for Home Landscape Design” is a required pre-requisite for this course; exceptions are by permission of the instructor.
