Discover Major Lewis Ginter’s role in local battles and his importance in guiding Richmond to recovery after the wartime devastation of his own fortune and that of his adopted city. Explore acres of gorgeous gardens surrounding an historic house all made possible by Ginter’s generous legacy. Presented in accordance with the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War in Richmond 2011-2015. Come dressed for the weather and walking in the Garden.
