Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers a variety of spaces in a gorgeous and serene setting with year-round beauty in our more than 40 acres of gardens. Exquisite facilities and superb food provided by the Garden’s exclusive in-house caterer, Meriwether Godsey, make this a unique environment for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings and conferences, and many other special events.

Our Venues
Lewis Ginter offers facilities ranging from an auditorium with state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities to an intimate tea house nestled in the Asian Valley; we have the perfect facility for your next special event.
Bloemendaal House
Historic Bloemendaal House features period furniture, lake views, and artwork, including period oil paintings and prints as well as porcelain sculptures by renowned artist Patrick O'Hara. The restored first floor includes the lecture hall, formal dining and living rooms, parlor, a small dining room and glass porch overlooking the lake. The covered porch on two sides of the house leads to two connected brick patios, one of which is tented April through October. Bloemendaal, Dutch for "Valley of Flowers," is a favorite spot for outdoor wedding receptions, corporate picnics and holiday parties.

Robins Tea House
A short walk through the Asian Valley leads to the Robins Tea House, a lovely reception space influenced by Japanese tea house architecture with a surrounding deck, flanked by cascading streams and ponds. Windows on three sides of the Tea House provide spectacular views of this unique garden setting which incorporates the spirit of Asian garden design and celebrates the sacredness of nature. An outdoor deck surrounds the Tea House, allowing events to spill outdoors in nice weather, and offers attractive outdoor patio furniture (uncovered). This venue is ideal for small wedding receptions, corporate dinners and receptions, and private dinners.

Robins Visitors Center
The Robins Visitors Center is the gateway to the Garden and an evening rental of the Visitors Center provides a spectacular setting for wedding receptions, corporate cocktail receptions, dinners, and private parties. Rental of the Robins Visitors Center includes the Robins Room, Garden Café, Atrium and three adjoining terraces. The Fountain Terrace and Garden Café offer views of the Central Garden and Conservatory. All three spaces have direct access to one another, the Garden and parking.
Capacity: 250 cocktail reception, 96 buffet or 136 plated dinner in Robins Room (additional capacity available in Café for events with no dancing or cocktail hour)
Robins Room
The Robins Room, located just off the Atrium, is a charming space featuring tall archways and garden-themed décor. It is the perfect spot for wedding receptions, corporate meetings, holiday parties, and private luncheons, dinners and parties.
Capacity: 75 crescent round meeting, 142 theater

Cafe
Located adjacent to the Atrium and the Robins Room, the Café offers evening rental opportunities and features original botanical prints, comfortable patio-style furniture, and spectacular window views of the Central Garden and Conservatory. The adjoining dining terrace offers an intimate garden seating option for guests and includes wooden patio furniture (uncovered). A baby grand piano is available upon request.

Auditorium
The Auditorium features rich appointments and a wide range of audio-visual capabilities with an elevated stage and built- in lectern. There is a glass projection screen and rear LCD and slide projectors. Chandelier, spot and recessed lighting on dimmers and the ability to partition the Auditorium into 3 distinct rooms for breakout sessions or separate meetings, make this an easy space to create the atmosphere or size you need for any event. A baby grand piano is also available upon request. This venue is ideal for corporate meetings, conferences and dinners, wedding receptions, and anniversary and holiday parties.

The Azalea Room
Located across a hallway from the Auditorium, The Azalea Room offers three walls of spectacular window views of the Central Garden and Conservatory and includes an intimate and charming garden terrace. This venue is an ideal location for small corporate meetings, bridal luncheons, baby showers, intimate private luncheons and dinners, and quaint holiday parties.
