The wondrous light display enthralled us all even down to the smallest details such as the tree in the botanical garden's reading room in the library! Pitcher plants(?) and other gifts from the garden made this tree so very special.

Having recently learned the name of this tree, the Saucer Magnolia, Lily could not resist climbing among the beautiful pink blossoms! We quickly snapped this photo and found the mulberry bush for some real climbing!!!

I took Lily, age 3, to the garden for some sprigtime inspiration. After we crossed the Monet bridge, petals form the flowering pear were blowing all around. Lily started running and proclaimed, "It's snowing! It's snowing, Mommy!"

My daughter, Lily, and her friend, Ava, were enjoying the view of the new rose garden. Or, perhaps they were figuring out the fastest way to the treehouse in the children's garden.
