Adult/Child Creative Workshops

Bring your child, grandchild, niece or nephew and work together to make a “butterfly habitat” or craft your own fairy house from natural materials.  Join us for these fun and exciting adult/child workshops offered at various times throughout the year.

Making “Fairy Gardens” Workshop | September 28

Following  a demonstration of plants and materials for miniature gardens,  create your own ‘little fairy landscape’.  Instructor: Beth Burrell

Making “Fairy Houses” with Dried Natural Materials | December 2 Morning, December 2 Afternoon, December 3 Afternoon

Learn what goes into these unique creations and make one of your own to take home, under the guidance of horticulturist Shannon Smith and volunteer Debbie Guckert.  Adults and adult/child groups  (children 5 years old and up; no more than two children per accompanying adult) create one house.
