Lewis Ginter's New Moon Gate to Debut at Flowers After 5

by Jonah Holland, PR & Marketing Coordinator, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

A few weeks ago, we gave you a first glimpse at our new moon gate. I have exciting news! Tomorrow, at Flowers After 5, our new Moon Gate will make its debut!  The finished piece will be on display at the entrance to the Asian Valley framing the wonderful plants and pond found within.  We are hoping that our Western Red Cedar moon gate enhances your experience at the Garden and encourages you stop and take note of the lovely garden room beyond.  I can’t wait to see it myself!

Stay tuned for more photos of the finished moon gate, or if you can, join us for Flowers After 5, tomorrow, Sept. 3rd! We’ll be featuring Pinot Noirs and Pinot Grigios and music will be provided by The Dean Christensen Trio, featuring Karl Morse (guitar), Andrew Randanzzo (bass), and Dean Christensen (drums).
