The library has more than 7000 titles on the subjects of botany, horticulutre, natural history, conservation, garden design, flower arranging and garden history. Redo your outdoor room with help from our garden design collection.

 

What is Permaculture?  A design system for creating sustainable human environments, according to Bill Mollison in his book Introduction to Permaculture.  Put another way, permaculture is the relationships between animals, plants, buildings, and infrastructures.  You can now read about permaculture in our library, as we have three new books to satisfy your curiousity about this "growing" topic.

The library currently receives more than 70 journals for gardeners covering general interest and specific plant topics. Additional non-current holdings are in storage and are available by appointment. Holdings records for all journals are found in the catalog record.
