Patrick Dougherty: A Slide Show

by Jonah Holland, PR & Marketing Coordinator, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Have you seen Patrick Dougherty’s Meadowmorphosis — “Diamonds in the Rough” stick sculpture yet?  While we were building it, we gave you daily updates — with blog posts, photographs and video. But it’s been a while since we mentioned it — so I thought I’d remind you if you haven’t seen it yet, come visit! It’ll be around for a while, well as long as nature allows, but these days it is looking mighty fine hanging out in the Anderson Meadow.  Pretty soon we’ll be thinking about how we can light it for Dominion GardenFest of Lights too. Now that should be a sight!

I’ve been playing around with our Flickr stream recently & wanted to share this slideshow with you.  I’ve started the slideshow with a few photos of blooms from the Garden — the Meadowmorphosis images follow.

Created with flickr slideshow.
