Circle of Friends

 

Butterfly at Lewis Ginter Botanical GardenIf you are a Garden Member or Patrons Program Member, you can become a part of the Circle of Friend's giving club. By giving a gift of $10, $25, $50, $100, or any amount to one or all of the key mission areas of the Garden listed below you are showing your dedication to the Garden's growth. Any donation to the Circle of Friends is fully tax-deductible and goes directly to your chosen mission area for that calendar year. Becoming a member of this giving club is offered exclusively to Garden members and Patrons Program members. You can join this giving club online by clicking here or the headings below, over the phone by calling (804) 262-9887 ext. 311, mailing your gift to the address below or when you renew your membership or Patrons Program gift.

Below are the key mission areas you can contribute to and examples of how your support can help .

 

Friends of Horticulture

$20 can provide special gloves for volunteers to use in the NEW Rose Garden, $40 will cover the cost of pruners and $500 will pay for one sharpening of all pruning tools.

Friends of the Library

$10, $20, $50 and gifts of any amount will allow the Garden to grow its collections.

Friends of the Conservatory

$10 will allow the purchase of additional bulbs, $800 will buy one shipment of predatory insects.

Friends of Children's Garden

$10 will cover the cost of select seeds to plant in the Farm Garden, $20 will cover the cost to purchase supplies such as glue and yarn for the breezeway activities.

Friends of Education

$10, $20, $30 and $100 will provide supplies for classes and lectures.

General Circle of Friends

These funds will be dispersed to all Circle of Friends mission areas.
