Honor, Memorial and Named Giving
Calendar of Events
"What's in a name?" Names identify us. They have meaning. They leave a legacy. Over the past two decades, many individuals, foundations and corporations have linked their names to the Garden. As the Garden continues to grow, there are new opportunities to attach your name to its extraordinary features - now and for the future. For more information, please call the Development Department at 804-262-9887, ext. 311.
Honor and Memorial Giving
Remember a loved one through a memorial gift or honor a special person in your life for his or her birthday, anniversary or other special occasion while supporting Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. We will notify your friends or family of your kind gesture and your gift is fully tax deductible. Click here to give a memorial or tribute gift online or mail your contribution to the address below.
You can also honor or memorialize someone through one of the opportunities below. Each item is placed in a designated area of the Garden and includes an attached plate engraved with your message. Trees are noted by a nearby plaque at the base of the named tree and handprints are placed on the fence surrounding the Children's Garden with the engraved name or message on the metal handprint.
