Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers many corporate sponsorship opportunities and is always interested in new ways to partner with organizations and corporations in the community beyond the Garden's established special events open to the public like M & T Bank's GardenFest of Lights Corporate Preview event held in the Garden's Conservatory.

In it's fifth year, M & T Bank's partnership with the Garden in sponsoring this signature event is an example of a successful and beneficial partnership and event. With every year the event has grown in the number of guest attending and established wonderful opportunities for M &T Bank's clients to learn about the Garden and for the Garden's Corporate constituents to learn about M & T Bank's services.

This event is very exclusive as it is currently the only event where a corporations name is included in the name of the event. Sponsoring this event also allows the Garden to recognize M & T Bank in it's Honor Roll of Donors, through press releases and in mailings and newsletters to business member prospects and all Garden members.

2008 Highlights

On November 24, 2008 Provident Bank, now M & T Bank held it's 5th annual GardenFest of Lights Corporate Preview event at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. More than 300 guests were in attendance and strolled through the Garden's GardenFest of Lights display and gathered in the Garden's Conservatory to enjoy refreshments, live music and a chance to be one of a very few in the area to get a sneak peek at the Garden's GardenFest of Lights display that opened to the public on Nov.28, 2008.

M & T (Provident) Bank entertained the guests, who all eagerly anticipate this special event, and proved that it is an established part of the Richmond community!
