General Collection and Use of Personal Information
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, phone number, and email address when a member or donor voluntarily provides it to us. In addition, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden keeps a record of each donor's giving and membership history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by the Development Department to process contributions and memberships, analyze overall giving patterns in order to make more accurate budget projections and to communicate with donors and members about special events and programs at the Garden.
Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden does not share or disclose the names and addresses of its donors or members with other groups for any purpose. At times the Garden my send information on behalf of a group or other organizations, but personal information is never shared for any purpose. Members and donors can be removed from the Garden's mailing list by simply contacting the Garden's Development office at (804) 262-9887 ext. 311.
