Director of Guest Services
Kim began her career at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in 2005, working in the Facility Events department. She quickly moved up, becoming Manager and then Director of Guest Services where she currently oversees the Garden’s auxiliary revenue departments (Admissions, Facility Events and the Garden Shop), and support departments (Operations, Maintenance and Security). Kim leads and manages 32 Garden staff.
Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to her experience at the Garden she has extensive experience in the insurance industry and food industry. Kim is an expert in hospitality, organizational leadership and developing employees to their full potential. Kim embraces our core value of hospitality every day as we welcome diverse communities as visitors, members, volunteers and staff.
