Green Adventure Summer Camp:
Junior Naturalist | Ages 9 - 10 | August 7 - 11

Anyone can become a junior naturalist. All that’s needed is curiosity about the wonders of the natural world. Through hands-on activities, campers will discover the amazing ways that plants, animals and insects support each other in well-balanced ecosystems. Campers will record their discoveries in nature journals that will be filled with pressed plants, drawings, and scientific data.

Event Details

Ages 9 – 10. Camp meets Monday through Friday, 9 am – 12 pm. $155 member / $195 non-member

What to bring and/or wear each day:

  • A healthy, nut-free snack
  • A backpack that your camper can comfortably carry
  • Hat or sun visor
  • Water bottle
  • A mask
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Please wear shoes appropriate for outdoor activities (no flip-flops)
  • Please apply sunscreen before leaving home
  • Please apply bug spray before leaving home (optional)
  • We ask that campers not bring candy, money, or valuables to camp

Important notes:

  • Camp meets rain or shine, so please have your camper dress appropriately for the weather.
  • We provide a break for your camper to have their snack and plenty of water and additional water breaks throughout the day.
