Techniques for Watercolor: Mixing Color, Painting Leaves

See how light falling on leaves reveals structure, form, and texture. Use the paints in your palette to make nature’s fall colors.  Explore warm and cool colors to find just the right mix. Make four small, detailed leaf paintings on watercolor paper. Co-teachers: Hazel Buys and Judith Towers

This class takes place over two Tuesdays and two Thursdays:

  • November 29
  • December 1
  • December 6
  • December 8

GES: BI, 20, required*

*This class is required for the Garden Education Series: Botanical Illustration Certificate program and offers 20 hours of credit toward the certificate.

Pre-requisites are Introduction to Drawing, Intermediate Drawing, and Introduction to Watercolor.  Pre-requisites may be waived by permission of the instructor.
