Nature Prints

Make a collection of interesting plant images by using the plants themselves. The flower, leaf or fruit itself is painted and applied to paper or fabric to make a print.  This is similar to the Japanese technique of Gyotaku, or fish rubbing.  No two prints are the same!  Take the prints you make in class and frame for an interesting wall display, or, take the “Making Books” class (see below) and create your own florilegium (collection of plant images)!
