Camps for 4 – 5 year-olds

NEW! Growing Mr. McGregor’s Garden | June 15 – 19 & July 13 – 17

Help solve the garden mystery: Who is eating Mr. McGregor’s vegetables? Along the way campers will harvest and nibble from the garden, plant a rainbow of vegetable seeds, and wiggle fingers into the soil to find wonderful worms that keep the garden growing.

Over the River and through the Woods | June 29 – July 3 & August 3 – 7

Go on a Garden adventure! As we explore off-the-beaten paths, we’ll hop boulders across creeks, search for treasures in the woods, dissect plants that eat insects, and use all five senses to make exciting new discoveries.

Camps for 6 – 8 year-olds

NEW! Bug Brigade | June 22 – 26

Spend a week searching our gardens, forests, and ponds for whispering beetles, stinky bugs and other strange micro-beasts. Did you know these creatures are talented architects that build tunnels, traps, and intricate homes? Fashion your own bug-style structures that provide shelter for monarch butterflies, mason bees, and ladybugs.

NEW! Nature Safari | July 20 – 24

Let’s head for the woods to hunt for tracks of nocturnal predators, dig up aromatic roots to brew into a delicious drink, and build a ferny-fort to hide away from the summer heat. Campers will follow a series of hidden clues around the gardens to solve some of nature’s most amazing mysteries!

NEW! Grow and Create | July 27 – 31

Calling all Eco-Artists! Join us for a creative nature-inspired week as we build and decorate twig castles, weave with cattails and harvest seeds to play an ancient game. We’ll twist corn husks into toy people, create beautiful leaf mandalas, and string bracelets using beads picked from the garden. Campers will plant a take-home garden to inspire year-round natural art projects.

Camps for 9 – 12 year-olds

NEW! Nature Expeditions | August 10 14

Meet some of our secret employees (goats, honey bees and chickens) to discover how they contribute to a productive Community Kitchen Garden. Help feed and care for the animals, collect colorful eggs, then join our beekeeper to harvest your own jar of honey. Using fresh ingredients from the Garden, we’ll make herb dip, goat cheese, pesto, veggie chips and more!

NEW! Garden Cuisine | July 6 10

Create a feast from plant to pizza! Grind wheat to knead into dough, turn milk into cheese, pick tomatoes to make the sauce, stir in flavorful Italian herbs, then bake in a solar oven. You’ll also make your own pickles, plant a take-home mini-mushroom farm, and brew tea sweetened with honey you collect from the hive!
