Flowers After 5

Regular Garden admission; free admission for Garden Members.
Kick back and relax at the Garden on Thursday evenings this summer! The Garden is open til 9 p.m. on these special evenings: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26. Each night has a theme and the second Thursday of each month (July 8 and August 12) is also a Fidos After 5 night when leashed pets are allowed.
Flowers After 5 is rain or shine; in case of extreme inclement weather, activities will be moved inside. Enjoy:
5 - 9 p.m. Strolling through the gardens and Conservatory, including the Glorious Glass exhibit -- hundreds of exquisite glass sculptures by internationally acclaimed artist Hans Godo Frabel. The Children's Garden is also open during Flowers After 5, although WaterPlay is not on (check out Families After 5 for after-hours WaterPlay).
6 - 8:30 p.m. Wine-tasting in the Rose Garden. Additional $10 wine ticket required -- cash or check only, please. Allows three samples (~4 ounces each). For those 21 years and older; ID required. Please see schedule below for participating vineyards and themes; some nights have melon, cheese and tomato tastings, too!
6 - 8 p.m. Music and dancing in the Rose Garden. We're mixing it up this year -- everything from jazz to opera, bluegrass to dancing! Please see schedule below for themes and details.
5 - 8 p.m. Dining in the Garden Cafe and the Tea House. Both restaurants have indoor and limited outdoor seating. The Garden Cafe offers sandwiches, salads, desserts and more; food from the Cafe may be taken out into the Garden. The Tea House offers a seated dinner with views of the Garden.
5 - 7 p.m. Browsing in the Garden Shop; offering an extensive collection of garden accents, books, gifts, toys and jewelry,
