Rose Fest
Saturday, October 6 & Sunday, October 7, 2012; Noon - 3:00 p.m.
Details:
Regular Garden admission; free admission for Garden Members. In the event of rain, activities will move inside the auditorium.
This is your chance to "stop and smell the roses" and enjoy outstanding entertainment in the Rose Garden. Walk through winding paths of 1,800 roses for a sensual feast of color, fragrance and beauty. Learn more about the roses at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Artists from the Virginia Opera will perform on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 12:15pm- 1:00pm and 1:45pm- 2:30pm. See the list of performers and songs.
On Sunday, Oct. 7 The Dance Space will provide tango demonstrations and lessons.
Garden Guides will also be available in the Rose Garden to answer any questions.
We'll also be celebrating the interesting characteristics of roses as part of October Oddities.
