T’ai Chi Five Elements Form: February Session

The Five Elements Form of T’ai Chi is filled with simple and gentle movements easily mastered in a short period of time. Students study the physical movements and philosophy of T’ai Chi as well as breathwork and meditation. Benefits include increased circulation, balance, and posture. Many find an increase in strength and flexibility and a reduction in stress. The minimal number of steps to be learned and their repetition make the Five Elements form easy to learn and incorporate into daily practice. Instructor Rie Franklin is a 1993 graduate of the VCU department of Dance and Choreography. For the last 18 years she has been actively teaching a variety of movement forms in the Richmond area. She is approved to teach the Five Elements form of T’ai Chi, and is currently a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500). Workshop includes morning refreshments and lunch.

Registration is closed for the February 20th session.  Spaces remain available in the March and April sessions.
