The Earth Exhibition
In this two-part exhibition, artist Leah Raintree and the family-run business La Amatista offer distinct yet complementary perspectives on the Earth’s deep material history. Through drawings infused with ocean sediment, and ethically-sourced Uruguayan amethysts brought directly from the ground with care, both contributors explore how natural materials can become conduits for reflection, responsibility, and reverence.
Together, their works ask: What does it mean to engage with the Earth—not just as resource, but as archive, collaborator, and witness?
This exhibition is located in the Lora M. Robins Library, which is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Included with Garden admission.
