About the Richmond Horticultural Association

The objective of the Richmond Horticultural Association is to stimulate the knowledge of horticulture and to create an interest in the conservation of natural resources.
RHA’s membership includes new gardeners, retired gardeners and Master Gardeners. Some members belong to garden clubs and other specialized plant societies (e.g., rose, iris, daylily, daffodil). Some have large gardens and others have a few pots on windowsills. RHA is a community that allows our members to share their love of plants and nature with others.
For any inquiries about the RHA, membership or information, please contact [email protected] and view Richmond Horticulture Association on Facebook.
RHA Public Meetings at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
RHA meets the first Monday of the month from February through December in the Kelly Education Center at the Garden. The meetings begin at 1 pm and (except the December holiday luncheon) are free. Non-members are welcome to attend these meetings. Garden field trips are scheduled for the summer months. RHA meets to share knowledge and to support Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden as an important local horticultural education resource.
