Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden has a Board of Directors and Board of Associates.
Senior staff include:
Frank Robinson, President and CEO
Frank has provided leadership to the Garden since 1992, first as Executive Director and now as President and CEO. His focus is on development activities, long-term planning, partnerships and visioning for the institution. Learn more about Frank Robinson.
Shane Tippett, Executive Director
Shane has served the Garden since 2004, first as Assistant Director for Finance and Operations and now as Executive Director. Shane is responsible for all daily operations, staffing and financial activity. Learn more about Shane Tippett.
Grace Chapman, Horticulture Director
Grace has a strong public gardens background with experience at premier gardens in the United States and United Kingdom. Most recently before coming to the Garden, Grace was horticulture supervisor at the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University in Ambler, Pennsylvania. Learn more about Grace Chapman.
Randee Humphrey, Education Director
Randee Humphrey joined Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden as Education Manager in 2004, and oversees all functions of the Education department, including public, school, and special audience programs, educational exhibits and interpretation, management of Library and herbarium collections, and community initiatives and partnerships.

Kim Dove, Guest Services Director
Kim Dove
began her career at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in 2005 in the Facility Events department where she coordinated the facility rental and sales business. She quickly moved up, and in 2010 became Manager of Guest Services, overseeing the Facility Events, Admissions, Operations and Security Departments. In her latest role as Director of Guest Services, effective January 2013, Kim added the Garden Shop and Maintenance Departments to her list of responsibilities. Learn more about Kim Dove.
Beth Monroe, Public Relations and Marketing Director
Strategic public relations and marketing have helped propel Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden from “Richmond’s Best Kept Secret” to one of the region’s top destinations and national recognition. Beth Monroe has led these public relations and marketing efforts over the past 14 years as the Garden grows and brings people and plants together to improve our communities.
