Botanical Escape
DESIGNING WITH TROPICALS

Enjoy a tour of the tropical wing of the newly expanded Conservatory followed by a demonstration and hands-on lesson in the classroom. Participants will use a combination of exotic, unique and beautiful cut tropical flowers and foliage to create a lush, stunning, contemporary arrangement to take home. Note: this class has a higher ticket price due to the higher cost of tropical flowers.

Fees: Member $110, Non-Member $138

*This class offers 2 hours of elective credit toward the Garden Education Series: Floral Design Certificate. Non-certificate students are welcome. All levels welcome.

David Pippin‘s name is well-known in Richmond’s horticultural world. A sought-after designer of inspired floral arrangements, a provider of garden-themed hands-on programs for children and adults, and an educator with a wide range of horticultural knowledge and experience, David is indeed a “man for all seasons.” He has been featured at the “Fine Arts and Flowers” annual event at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
