Design Styles
Victorian and English Garden

Explore the classic floral design styles of formal Victorian and loose, open, airy English Garden. David Pippin explains the characteristics of these flower-full styles, and leads you through the creation of your own expression of them. September 20: Victorian; September 27: English Garden. Bring your own container to each class. Some floral design experience required. All floral materials provided. Students bring a container (see below) and sharp floral snips.

Container details: Victorian: urn type up to 12” tall and no wider than 10”. English Garden: bring a basket with a liner, with or without a handle, and no more than 10” wide or 6” deep.
