Lunchtime Lecture: Fall Soups with Chef Anne

Learn tips and tricks for mastering the art of making delicious soups and stews with Meriwether-Godsey’s Executive Chef Anne Maury Haapala.  Chef Anne will showcase three soups: one vegetarian, one cream-based and one hearty stew.  Anne explains the basic method  for soup-making so that you can “clean out your fridge” by making fantastic soups using leftovers.  Learn how to use soups as cost-effective ways to feed a crowd and how to prepare them as easy freezer meals for the fall and winter.  As an added bonus, Anne demonstrates some easy “soup sides” that help make your soup night into a full meal that everyone can enjoy!  Fee includes a tasty lunch featuring some of the recipes demonstrated.
