Children's Garden & Education
Grow and learn in the Children's Garden!
Here children have up-close and personal interactions with the natural world--not as passive bystanders, but as active participants who touch, smell, taste, learn new vocabulary and develop observational and listening skills.
The playful, informal setting of the Garden and our hands-on, child-centered approach to teaching not only support a child's acquisition of new knowledge, but also provide an environment that builds social, emotional, physical and creative competencies.
The Children's Garden is a wonderful place for middle and high school youth to grow and learn as well. Workforce development, leadership and community service opportunities are available for students ages 13- 18 to get growing!
