COMMUNITY
IMPACT

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is expanding to better serve our growing number of visitors and members as a center for environmental education, programming, and community wellness.

Wick Lake has been expanded to an incredible four acres of wildlife habitat and water filtration systems. Visitors to the gardens will be able to enjoy the lake from Martha’s Way walking trail and learn about our watershed stewardship programs and seven acres of new native plant gardens.

We will have brand new areas for education – whether you are a student learning in the Jane Hartough Ourtoor Classroom, attending a class in the brand new Kroger Courtyard, or learning about the life cycle of butterflies inside of the Atrium: there will be exciting opportunities to spread your wings at Lewis Ginter.
