Blooming with Pride is here—and this year’s celebration brings bold energy, vibrant community, and unforgettable entertainment. In partnership with Diversity Richmond’s Virginia Pride and TransJam, Lewis Ginter is proud to host a day full of creativity, connection, and queer joy.

Browse artisan goods at the makers market, vibe with DJ Andrew Saunders, take in dazzling drag performances, and dance to dynamic DJ duo Museum District’s energetic House and Disco performance.

Come out, bring your people, and be part of a day that celebrates authenticity, expression, and pride.

Blooming with Pride is included with Garden admission; free for members.

1-2pm: Drag Royalty performances including Tiffani Hunter-Monique (Miss Gay Harrisonburg 2025!) Vanilla Vee (Miss Gay Cosmopolitan United States) and Rayge Monet
2-3pm: Music from Museum District
3-4pm: Music from DJ Andrew Saunders

A makers market organized by TransJam will be set up for shopping throughout the event. Artist Aleyah Grimes will be leading a paper crane activity by her Homes & Habitats sculpture, and visitors can get their photo taken in the Big Day Polaroids booth.
