Botany for Botanical Artists Workshop: Ferns and Mosses

Explore the delicate forms of the ferns and mosses.  The morning session will focus on the basic biology of these interesting plants. Study and draw a diversity of plant parts under the guidance of a botanist. Afternoons are devoted to graphite illustrations of plants related to the morning’s discussion.  Emphasis is placed on observation, accurate representation of details, and labeling.
