CREATIVE MOVEMENT
FOR A CREATIVE BRAIN

Creative Movement combines physical movement and creative expression, encouraging you to explore your body’s capacity for movement while also expressing yourself creatively. This workshop, designed for seniors, integrates Creative Movement basics with Brain-Compatible Dance Education techniques and exercises to prevent neurodegenerative diseases (like Parkinson’s and dementia). Come dressed to play and exercise in seated and standing movement games for adults and seniors. You will have fun, make friends and get loose!

Fees: Member $30, Non-Member $36

Tai Chi Rie CherieAbout the Instructor

Rie Monique Cherie is a Certified Yoga Therapist, a Franklin Method Educator and a Tai Chi 5 Elements Form Instructor who has over 20 years of one-on-one and group instruction. She believes learning about the body and the self is a first step in self-care and humanity and specializes in holistic wellness practices including Franklin Method, Tai Chi, and Yoga. She looks forward to helping you towards a better life experience.
