COMMUNITY NIGHT

LGBG is excited to host this year’s Lakeside Community Night! If you attend one of the nearby schools or live in the Lakeside Community, please join us for a fun night filled with food, music, and a splash! Waterway will be open late for all to enjoy, weather permitting. Don’t forget to bring a chair to enjoy the live music provided by Grace Street Seven.

For neighbors with a 23228 zip code – Admission $10 for adults, FREE for 17 and under. Free for members. For all others, normal admission rates apply.
Museums for All (for those with SNAP or WIC EBT cards) $1 admission for adults, FREE for 17 and under.

STORYTIME HOUR!

Come enjoy a special Storytime in the Robins Library at 5:30 pm. Reading together supports brain building for your child and it’s FUN!  We will also have a craft activity that all can enjoy.  All ages are welcome!

MUSIC

Jay Brown’s Grace Street Seven is a vintage style Jazz band that performs songs in the tradition of early 20th century dance bands from the 1920s-1940s. These dapper gents specialize in playing Victrola record transcriptions of Jazz Age classics from the likes of Al Bowlly, Fletcher Henderson, Ray Noble and Irving Berlin. The instrumental line-up includes trumpet, trombone, saxophones, tenor banjo, piano, upright bass and percussion/drums. Full of sophistication and exuding the nostalgia of early American Jazz, expect a dapper yet cheeky performance with a few fun surprises.
