A Special, After-Hours Evening for Members Only at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

Bring your LEGO® brick creations and compete with fellow members for prizes. Explore the wildly popular Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks exhibition. Enjoy special members-only access, activities and games.

Not interested in the LEGO®  brick competition? That’s okay! This will be a perfect night to hang out and explore the Garden after hours with your fellow members. Food and beverages, including wine and beer, will be available for purchase.

LEGO® Brick Creation Contest Guidelines

Prizes are awarded in 4 categories: Ages 0 – 5, Ages 5 – 10, Ages 11 – 16 and Age 17+ including Adults. Within each category, there will be two winners: 1st Place and 2nd Place, and Crowd Favorite. Winners will be announced the night of the event by 7:45 pm.

1. Use your own LEGO®, DUPLO®, Mega bloks® or other LEGO® compatible plastic bricks.

2. Entries must be in place by 5:30 p.m. to be considered. You may begin bringing your creation into the Garden at 4 pm. You must take your creation home at the end of the event.

3. You MUST be able to carry your creation into the Garden unassisted by Garden staff, carts, etc.

4. Entries must be your own creation, not a LEGO® designed kit.

5. Your creation must be on a base no bigger than 24 by 24 inches. The base can be wood, cardboard, a LEGO® flat base, etc. and can be decorated to fit with your project. Your completed project may be no taller than 4 feet tall.

6. One entry per participant or team where applicable.

7. Team projects will be placed in the category of the oldest participant in the team.
