Mindfulness Based
STRESS REDUCTION

THIS PROGRAM IS CANCELLED. Check out other mind, body, spirit opportunities here

Explore mindfulness as a strategy to manage stress. Mindfulness is the ability to have judgment-free awareness as events unfold moment by moment. Mindfulness is something we naturally possess, however when practiced daily or even consistently, our ability to move mindfully is more readily available and accessible. This class is both theoretical and experiential. Students learn about and discuss the origins of mindfulness practices; engage in the natural and traditional movements supporting the mind-body component of mindfulness; and are supported in the development of their personal mindfulness practice as a tool for stress management and self-awareness. Limited enrollment in this class includes time for beginning questions and answers, and inquiry practice.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are strongly encouraged for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.
