Mindfulness, Meditation,
AND MOVEMENT

Explore mindfulness as a strategy to manage stress. Mindfulness is the ability to have judgment-free awareness as events unfold moment by moment. Mindfulness is something we naturally possess, however when practiced daily or even consistently, our ability to move mindfully is more readily available and accessible. This course is both theoretical and experiential. Students learn about and discuss the origins of mindfulness practices; engage in the natural and traditional movements supporting the mind-body component of mindfulness; and are supported in the development of their personal mindfulness practice as a tool for stress management and self-awareness. Limited enrollment in this online class includes time for beginning questions and answers, inquiry practice and breakouts. A video of each session is sent afterward for reference.

This class is cancelled.
