Make your own ephemeral art! Enter the #MYWILDART Instagram contest by visiting one of our “creation stations,” located throughout our Garden and creating a one-of-a-kind work of art. Like a sandcastle by the sea, ephemeral art doesn’t last — so snap a photo of your creation to save the memory forever.  You can transform humble rocks, leaves,  sticks and more into awe-inspiring works of art and share them with your friends on Instagram!  Harness the power of self-expression and the healing, meditative benefits of spending time in nature, then share it with the world.

Wild Art Creation Stations — allow all visitors to become a part of the exhibition, providing an opportunity for everyone to explore their wild side.

More about the exhibition:
Wild Art: A Journey Off-Canvas features large-scale art installations made from materials found in the natural environment. Scattered throughout the Garden to prompt exploration and discovery, the multi-sensory experiences will spark new ways of interacting with the natural world and each other.

 

To Enter

Upload original photos of your creative art made at Wild Art Creation Stations to Instagram (or Facebook) between May 26 – October 1, 2017, tagging Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden as the location.  By tagging your photo #MyWildArt and entering the contest, or emailing us your photos, you agree to allow Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden to reproduce your photo in our newsletter and on our social media channels. We will happily give you credit. Please do not submit watermarked images.

Be creative! We’ll choose winners based on creativity, fun and photographic composition.  Be sure to check your Instagram account for a message. Also, don’t forget to follow @LewisGinter on Instagram.

Prizes:
