Welcome to Sangetsu School of Ikebana. The way of Sangetsu is to express inherent beauty of nature in a flower arrangement, allowing our inner consciousness of beauty to unfold in the process. We invite you to participate in this art form that is guided by love of nature .

Fees: Member $49, Non-Member $59

All programs are subject to change. Pre-registration through our website is required.

Helena AroucaAbout the Instructor

Helena Arouca is a master in the Art of Ikebana at the Sangetsu School of Ikebana. Arouca has been practicing and teaching ikebana since 1994. She has taught hundreds of classes in Washington, DC, San Diego and Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL and Charlottesville, VA . She offers classes from her home in Waynesboro, VA.

Arouca has recently been learning to make her own ceramic vases enabling her students to practice on these unique art pieces.
She is very passioned about sharing this ancient art with others and loves being able to introduce people to a new way to create harmony, beauty and awareness.
