Festive Flair
HOLIDAY CENTERPIECE WORKSHOP

Wow your friends and family with a gorgeous, long-lasting, festive holiday centerpiece created under the expert guidance of local designer, David Pippin. Learn how to incorporate evergreens from the garden as well as the local floral shop as the base for a long-lasting centerpiece. After working with the greenery, participants will choose from cones, berries, fresh flowers, and ribbons to give their arrangement their own unique style and festive flair.

Fees: Member $82, Non-Member $98

*This course offers 2 hours of elective credit for students in the Garden Education Series: Floral Design Certificate program. Non-certificate students are welcome.

Students should bring clippers and a water-tight container of their choice (no clear glass and nothing too large)

David Pippin’s name is well-known in Richmond’s horticultural world. A sought-after designer of inspired floral arrangements, a provider of garden-themed hands-on programs for children and adults, and an educator with a wide range of horticultural knowledge and experience, David is indeed a “man for all seasons.” He has been featured at the “Fine Arts and Flowers” annual event at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
