Love sauerkraut or kimchi? Ever wondered how to make your own? Join us for an introduction to food fermentation, where you’ll learn the basic principles behind this ancient preservation technique and create a small jar of your own ferment to take home and enjoy later.
Explore the history of fermentation as a method of food preservation, discuss the science behind how and why it works, and sample a variety of styles of fermented foods. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class will give you the knowledge and confidence to start fermenting at home.
