INTRODUCTION TO
Alcohol Inks on Tile

Alcohol inks are a relatively new fascination of painters and crafters. A vibrant, fast drying medium, they are used to paint on non-porous surfaces such as glass, tile, or metal. The possibilities for experimentation are limitless. Experience the almost instant magic of these inks on tile. Using florals as inspiration, participants will create colorful, abstracted tiles. Painting expertise or even any experience at all is not necessary. Designed to be a creative adventure, this class is for everyone. If you took this class last year, consider joining this one: techniques will be reviewed but subject matter will be different, and, of course, no two tiles are ever the same! All materials are supplied and completed tiles will be yours to take.

Our Garden continues to follow CDC recommendations and state guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Properly worn masks are required for indoor class participants regardless of vaccination status. Non-vaccinated participants are also required to wear masks when outdoors and unable to maintain 6 feet of social distancing. The Garden reserves the right to implement additional safety measures. Any updates will be communicated prior to class, if possible.
