in the Garden

Express your inner artist with instructor Shelley Row and play with elementary watercolor techniques for the pure joy of it all! Celebrating summer in bloom, this one-day workshop encourages you to discover and discern the colors and shapes in the garden. Using very basic materials, interpret what you see in your own individual style. All levels of expertise are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.

Everyone Is an Artist in the GardenThis class is outside. All materials will be provided. Please remember your sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats.

This is an in-person class held outdoors; but will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather (rain or extreme heat).

Please come prepared for walking in the Garden. Fully vaccinated guests can enjoy class without wearing a mask. For those who are not fully vaccinated, masks are required indoors at all times and outdoors when 6-foot social distancing is not possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

About the Instructor

Shelley Row taught art in public schools for more than 40 years and is a practicing visual artist. She strongly believes in the absolute necessity of the arts in society, and hopes to find avenues through which to support and advocate for the visual and performing arts.
