About the Speakers

Amy Black of Amy Black Tattoo@amyblacktattoos

Amy Black owns and operates her own private, by-appointment tattoo studio in Richmond, Virginia. Opened in 2000, it caters to a custom art clientele. In 2010, Amy started doing Mastectomy Tattooing for Breast Cancer clients and is honored to partner with Breast Cancer groups and medical teams around the nation including many plastic surgeons and oncologists. She also offers mastectomy tattooing for top surgery reconstruction. In 2010, Amy founded what is now the 501(c)3 charity Pink Ink Fund (www.pinkinkfund.org) to aid with the financial hurdles connected with mastectomy tattoos.

Dana Carlson of Fable Tattoo Gallery@dana.does.tattoos

Dana began tattooing in 2016, since then she has enjoyed exploring a variety of subjects while developing a personal style. She loves rendering plants, animals, skulls, antique objects, weaponry, as well as creatures and characters from lore and mythology. Dana’s tattoos borrow elements from illustrative and colorful neotraditional styles, but she also likes stippled blackwork.

Ash Reid of Loose Screw Tattoo@ashtattoos

After a short time in her tattoo career, Ash was quick to find a home in Illustrative, Black and Grey Dotwork Imagery. Her work is inspired by antiquity, by the organic and the macabre. Ash hails from Richmond, VA and tattoos in her plant-filled room at Loose Screw Tattoo.
