Lucy Kilpatrick Fabric Art

With the recent onset of Covid, and being gifted with time and fabric, Lucy Kilpatrick began to explore creating pictures with bits of quilt scrap fabrics— to get rid of them. Many trips later to fabric stores and sending for more scraps, as well as gifts of scraps, it went from a hobby to a need.

Lucy Kilpatrick is probably best known as a local musician (keyboardist) playing for a variety of bands in the Richmond and tidewater area. When not performing, she enjoys working with visual arts such as quilting and fiber arts, and has taught a few needle felting classes.
