Exploring Color in the Garden with Ann Chenoweth
Be inspired by spring color in this two-day workshop that combines demonstration and experimentation in the studio and practice in the garden. The first day will begin with an introduction to color theory and composition in the landscape. Then, explore the garden with our painters’ eyes, recording interesting arrangements of space, form and color. Day two is spent painting on location in the garden, referring to our compositional studies from the day before. A group discussion concludes the workshop. Suitable for advanced beginners to experienced painters using any paint or color drawing media.
